To keep our kids and community safe, all volunteers in child-related roles must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Once you’ve completed the steps below, Please upload a clear image of your WWCC using the form below.
Some volunteers & staff may also have a First Aid Certiciate. If so, you can also upload an image on this using the form below.
If you volunteer in any child-related work in WA, you must hold a valid WWCC card (unless a specific exemption applies). The card allows you to do child-related work across WA for three years from the date of issue.
Get the form
Ask your coordinator for a WWCC form, or pick one up from an authorised Australia Post outlet.
Have us verify it
Bring the form to your coordinator so we can sign the “organisation representative” section confirming your role is child-related.
Lodge at Australia Post
Take your completed form and ID to Australia Post to lodge the application.
You’ll receive a receipt that lets you start/continue volunteering while your application is being assessed.
Watch for your card
You’ll get an email with card details and the physical WWCC by post!
Volunteer fee: The volunteer rate is $11 in WA when a not-for-profit organisation signs your application.
Your card lasts 3 years. Please start renewal 3 months before expiry via the WWC online services portal, then follow the prompts.
