People Flows in Elvanto help streamline the follow-up process for new people and new Christians. As a Connect Leader, you will be assigned people to follow up with, primarily through calls. You will also move them through different flows based on their engagement and interest.
People Flows help ensure every new person receives a warm and intentional follow-up. Your role as a Connect Leader is crucial in helping people find their place at Centrepoint.
If you have any questions about People Flows or need help, reach out to your Campus Pastor!
You receive an email & text when someone is assigned to you and when a due date is approaching.
Calls are the primary follow-up method—use the provided scripts as a guide, but be yourself.
You can reassign someone if they are better suited to a different leader.
Pools (Baptism, Welcome Lunch, Alpha) do not have due dates and hold people until the next event.
If a person no longer wants follow-up, you can remove them from the pool by completing the current step and not moving them to the next one. You can also mark them as "Archived" if they are not interested in calling Centrepoint Church their home.
People can be re-added to the New People Flow later.

Why can’t I see all people flows?
Depending on your permissions, you may only see flows where you have people assigned to you. Admins see all flows.
Can I filter by overdue tasks?
Yes! Use the filters within a flow to show overdue steps or people who need immediate follow-up.
When someone is assigned to you:
You will receive an email and a text notification.
To view assigned people, go to the relevant step and use the filter to filter by “Assigned To You”
Click on the person’s name to open the step to complete.
What if I didn’t get an email or text notification?
Double-check your spam/junk folder. If nothing is there, log into People Flows manually to see your assignments.
What if they shouldn’t be assigned to me?
If someone isn't assigned correctly, you can reassign them manually (see Changing Admins).
Can I see who is assigned to someone else?
Depending on your permissions, you can only see your assigned people. An admin can see all assignments.
Click on the person’s profile within the People Flow step.
Use the provided script to guide your conversation.
Click "Complete This Step".
Choose the appropriate next action/s, these include but aren’t limited to:
Move to next step (e.g., Week 3 Follow-Up Call).
Assign to the Connect Group Approval Flow (if they want to join a group).
Move to the Baptism Pool (if they express interest in baptism).
Move to Welcome to Centrepoint Pool (if they want to attend a welcome lunch).
Move to Alpha Pool (if they’re interested in Alpha).
Mark as "/Archived" (if they no longer want contact).
Connect approvals
What if I can’t reach the person?
Leave a voicemail and send a follow-up text. If they don’t respond, mark it as "Attempted – No Response" and move them to the next step.
What if they say they’ll think about it?
Move them to the next follow-up call step (e.g., Week 3 Call).
What if they decline further contact but still attend services?
Instead of archiving them, you can complete the step and uncheck ‘Move to next step’ so they are still in Elvanto but won’t receive additional calls.

Click Save to store the note in their profile.
Who can see the notes?
Any leader with access to the person's flow can see the notes.
When should I add a note?
Add a note after each contact to ensure smooth handover if they move to another leader.
When completing a step, add which connect group you would like the person to join in your notes
Tick add to the ‘Approve Connect Group’ flow.
Assign this to your campus’s connect coordinator.
Click Save, and your connect coordinator will be prompted to review this request.
Once a person is added, they may need login access to view and manage rosters, groups, and people flows.
Open the person’s profile in People Flows.
Click "Reassign Step" and select the new leader.
Click Save.
The newly assigned leader will receive an email and text notification.
What if I need to assign someone to a different flow?
You can manually add them to another flow from their profile
Who should I assign them to if I’m unsure?
If unsure, check with your Campus Pastor or a team leader.
How does Centrepoint handle reassignments?
Connect Leaders only see the people assigned to them.
If someone isn’t getting follow-up, they won’t automatically get reassigned—so it’s important to manually reassign if needed.
Leaders will get a reminder email if a step is overdue.
